Just a few years ago when going through their parents documents Viv and her brother Andrew came across an old bible. Looking inside the bible belonged to JWE Ransom (known as William) and his first wife and mother of his children Mary Eliza Ransom. It lists their birth dates and also the birth dates and times of all their children including my great grandfather Herbert Ransom. An amazing find. This was the family who lived in The Butts, Brentford, Middlesex.
